Karl-Raphael Blanchard

Karl-Raphael Blanchard is a Brooklyn-based Art Director, Designer, and DJ with a strong background in both conceptual design and hands-on execution. He attended the School of Visual Arts and started his career right after graduation at Kith, initially as a Junior Photo Editor, later becoming Multimedia Manager.

After Kith, Karl was recruited by Rowing Blazers to help launch a ready-to-wear sub-brand called Arthur Ashe, inspired by the legendary tennis player. As Brand Director, he led storytelling, branding, and visual world-building to establish a cohesive brand identity. Following the brand’s successful launch, he was promoted to Art Director at Rowing Blazers, where he helped strategize and organize campaigns for seasonal collections. After leaving Rowing Blazers, Karl spent a year freelancing before joining Brooklinen as Photo Art Director.

When he's not working, Karl DJs around downtown New York, holding residencies at prestigious clubs and hosting a radio station called Blanchard Global Radio.
