Arthur Ashe

As Brand Director of Arthur Ashe, I worked closely with the estate to successfully launch multiple collections, collaborations, and pop-up spaces. My role encompassed overseeing social media, managing the website, and collaborating with the creative director and production team on collection concepts and designs. The brand drew inspiration from vintage tennis styles, Arthur Ashe’s iconic on- and off-court looks, and distinctive apparel and patterns from the era of his career. The launch campaign was photographed at the historic West Side Tennis Club in Forest Hills, Queens, where Arthur Ashe won his first title in 1968. Beyond this, I was responsible for designing immersive brand experiences, resulting in two unique pop-up spaces. The first was a storefront in Manhattan’s Lower East Side, and the second was on the grounds of the U.S. Open. Both spaces captured the brand’s spirit while educating customers about Arthur Ashe’s legacy and how we continue to honor it today.
